A tactical carabiner, or 'tac-link' is a lightweight clip for attaching accessories to a backpack or rucksack. This particular model features two slots for attaching to PALS or MOLLE webbing and a spring-loaded gate for securing accessories. As these are made from ABS plastic, they will not produce any irritating metal-on-metal noise, nor will they scratch paint. This also means they are not suitable for climbing or rescue operations.
When there's no space left in your pack or you want to keep something on the outside for easy access, a couple of these carabiners will do the job. Secure on a cup, canteen, paracord or accessory pouch while on your next hunting or hiking trip.
