A gilt easel back desk or bedside clock by Cartier.  A very handsome and clean clock, it is easy to fit into any home or office.   The case design of the clock is that of the iconic "Bagnoire" watch model, enlarged for the home.  The easel back features the iconic "C" Cartier logo forming the feet.  The dial design is classic Cartier with black Roman numerals and internal chapter ring against a clean white background.  The dial is signed both below twelve o'clock, as well as in the 'V' of the seven o'clock.  It is also signed "Swiss Made" a the foot of the six o'clock marker.

The clock is quartz powered, which allows for very low maintenance.  There is the additional option of an alarm, if so desired.  With a small hand that can be set from the rear to the desired time.  Both the alarm setting and time setting crowns are classic Cartier DNA also, with bullet cabochon sapphires set into them.  The clock is superb condition throughout, and comes in its original Cartier red fitted box.  Swiss made, circa 1990's.
