Most Vicky Tiel pieces are very structured - made to look draped but on a pretty constructed frame. This one however takes her masterful draping and allows it to follow the fluidity of the fabric for maximum feminine and romantic effect. The fabric is a sueded silk so feels absolutely amazing when worn. It gives it a rich, extra depth of texture as well. The color is vivid - no wall flowers allowed in this dress! I love the soft and full shoulder straps that top the fitted and seamed to perfection bodice. It nips in at the waist and then the skirt flows in asymmetrical layers into a wide A-line. The fabric is light so though you get a ton of movement when you move it falls fairly close to the body when you are standing still. A lovely piece. Excellent condition

The bodice is self lined in the same silk and the skirt is unlined. It closes with a side zipper. Light boning on each side of the bodice.
